Has anyone got a favourite supplier for NZ built besides PC Company Is SDRam being phased out? Do you want a CPU or the main box with all the bits in ir (an upgrade box? There are heaps of good companys, I prefer Starlyte here in Wellington and I would avoud PC Gear like the plague. But I hguess it depends what city you're in. DDR RAM has over taken SD RAM and the price is dropping - the speed is increasing |

These probably give the best prices you can get in NZ, mainly from Chinese-run shops, that in general give you a fair deal. Eg Morning Computers, ETC Computers, QMB Computers in Mt Roskill probably have the best (lowest) overall prices. Most newer motherboards, which you should want anyway, should use DDR ram which is generally newer technology than SDRam and probably a better way to go for the future. |
