2002-12-19 08:50:00 | thanks nzStan, just got back from Medal of Honor. Getting better but getting sick of the comments by some of those idiots there, hell it's only a game. Anyway thanks for the info and the links. I have never tried jetstreamgames although I have visited the site. I got lost in where to 'sign in' so hopefully your links will this very old gamer, lol. I'll let you know how I get on. cheers again sam m

2002-12-19 09:30:00 | ok I give up! How do I configure my modem to connect to jetstreamgames. I have Nokia NI500. When I first got jetstream set up (I got someone in to do it for me) I set it up so that I am connected as soon as I turn on the computer. I have had to reconfigure the tcp/ip thingamajigs when I upgraded to XP but apart from that everything about this is gobbledygook. Thanks sam m

2002-12-19 09:35:00 | I use a router (alcatel speedtouch), and it has an IP address. Going to the IP address, I log into the router, go to the PPP page, take the router "down", and enter config. In there is my login and password. Noting the login, I change it to user@jetstreamgames.co.nz. Dont change the password. Save the config, set router to "up" and save. Then no internet adresses or e-mails work, but the jetstreamgames domain does. At full 2 MB + speed.

That box gives me the IP Adresss, Subnet address and DNS addresses as well. I log into the router, go to > the PPP page, take the router "down", and enter > config. I can disable the connection and renable but I cant see anyway to add user@jetstreamgames.co.nz in anythng that I have been looking at. If I don't have any luck on this thread I may create a new posting as I have seen others here with NI500. thanks anyway sam m |

2002-12-19 10:03:00 | No. Your modem should have an IP. Try http://192.168.1.254 (thats from Telecom site instructions for a Nokia but a different model.) You are looking at the connection of your modem to the PC, I think. You need to set the connection to the web. Go to www.telecom.co.nz. search for "jetstream games"
