| 107933 | 2002-12-21 04:40:00 | How can I make Win2K keep its net connection active when it logs of. Im wanting to remotely log the PC off and then back on again as the same user, while keeping the net connection active. Is it possible? Cheers Chilling_Silence |

You need to modify (or add) the following registry value using the REGistry EDITor, use an Administrator account to do the following: Click START | RUN, and type Regedit and click OK Within the registry left pane navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Right-click within the right pane, point to New, and then click String Value Name the value KeepRasConnections Double-click KeepRasConnections and set the value data to 1 Now exit from the Registry Editor and restart your PC. |
