| 107785 | 2002-12-20 08:22:00 | Has anyone actually down loaded this. I've been to sites that say it's free but nowhere can I find a downloadable site that works. Happy Christmas to Press F1 and those who share their wisdom/knowledge(big difference there), and of course a Good New Year to you all. Joseph. |

| 107787 | 2002-12-20 09:28:00 | Hi Joseph, I have just checked this site: www.abisource.com It downloads OK for me. I have used Abiword and found it very good. Regards, Antonia |

| 107789 | 2002-12-21 04:27:00 | yes, the price tag is expecially attractive. It also has its own format of saving documents, which is quite good. Also, the fact that anybody can download it and view the doc's youve made, as opposed to buying MS Office (Although Im sure there's afree reader-only demo available for download from M$). merry christmas |

| 107790 | 2002-12-22 08:27:00 | It down loaded well and is as good as the M$ Word I had on a previous computer (though I'm very much a newbie). However; on my previous machine I could down load clip art and insert them into text (grandads tend to do these things). Abi-Word, I regret to say rejects my harmless fun. Can anyone help please. Once again my very Best Wishes Joseph. |
