I was wondering if graphic cards say it has 128MB DDR does it mean, that the graphic card it self is using 128 DDRAM? And also does it matter if your computer is using SDRAM can you still use that DDR graphic card? What does it mean if it say DDR/SD?

Thanks alot :)

108037 2002-12-21 11:26:00 This is the type of RAM on the graphics card, and is completely irrelevent to what kind of RAM your computer uses. DDR is the best RAM available at the moment, so if you're looking to buy a new graphics card, go for one with DDR-RAM.

Also, does anyone know how comparable SG-RAM is to SD-RAM and DDR-RAM. In case you didn't know, the G in SG stands for Graphics - my graphics card has SG-RAM on it.
