| 1325197 | 2013-01-27 21:48:00 | Hi Guys I would like to use two monitors on my Windows 7 desktop. One for say Word and one for say an Access Database At present I have one wide screen and I use the Windows 7 Snap to the left and right feature, which works great. But I am thinking that having two monitors would be better and easier. My Video card seems to have one DVI port and one HDMI port. What is involved with setting up two monitors ? Is it just buying a second one and plugging it it ? (I think I have an HDMI cable) Or will I need to buy a new card with say two DVI ports |

I was sort of expecting a start button or some icons. But then I worked out that you just have to open an app and use the start and arrow keys to move it over to the other screen. I did not seem to need to go into Control Panel (I had a quick look and the options scared me) so I have left it as it was. It will just take me a few days to get used to controlling my apps as I want them. Now I really am a power user. Gee I wish I had kept a smaller screen I have a 24inch and a 19 inch and there's not much room left. |
