| 1324727 | 2013-01-24 18:55:00 | So I got a new HP z420 with an AMD firepro v4900 gl video card. The video card has three ports on the back. One dvi and then two DPs. I have two adapters that go from DVI to DP because all three of my monitors are DVI. I've got them all plugged in but cannot enable all three monitors. When I try to extend the desktop to a third monitor via control panel, it says display settings cannot be saved. I tried to do it via the catalyst software and it says I have to disable another monitor to enable that one. I have verfied I can enable any of the two at a given time, but can't extend my desktop to all three. Any ideas why? | andrewsmd87 (16999) | ||

One of your DP/DVI adapters must be an active one as well. Here are the supported adapters support.amd.com Perhaps that is your problem. |
