1324446 2013-01-23 02:05:00 I installed Opera to see if I liked it. However it wasn't for me so uninstalled it. However, despite it going away, it remained in Programs and Features, listings.

Now I find that it causes problems when trying to run SpeedFan, as that program picks it up and stalls, so SpeedFan stops dead in its tracks. The error message I get is "error initializing opera:module 15 (locdoc)"

Anyone got a way to remove it totally from the computer ?

1324452 2013-01-23 04:01:00 I deleted everything to do with Opera instead. One easy way to remove it :p I would also make your wireless secure, since it looks like its on WEP. Anyone will be able to use it. I've just rebooted the system for you. And since it looks like you're using wireless N on that laptop, I would get a wireless N modem / router. The speeds will be a LOT faster

I would also be careful what you install. Some of the programs I've uninstalled were adware/malware

1324453 2013-01-23 06:25:00 Best way to remove programs and all their registry settings is Revo Uninstaller

Just curious but what did you not like about Opera?

1324455 2013-01-23 22:13:00 It looks like (with the Opera users, on the Opera forum anyway), 12.xx kept bringing up this message. When they tried to uninstall it / or when they tried to run it.

Most had to either install 12.x over itself if they wanted to uninstall it / or run it. Which didn't do anything. The same error appeared.

Most of them didn't like 12.12. It had too many problems / bugs.

They had to revert back to 11.x so it would run / uninstall properly.
