| 1324195 | 2013-01-22 01:55:00 | laptop, windows xp home, internet explorer customer is on dial up due to no broadband in their area dialup will not display a web page broadband will display the same web page emails work fine send & receive on dial up have created a new dial up function - no difference - dial up still will not display web pages any idea's on how to get internet to display web pages on dial up again? |

Turn off all other services that are hogging the tiny bit of bandwidth - ie turn off virus definition updates, turn off Windows update, consider turning off other update checkers, like Java, Adobe etc. These services can be manually started when the line is idle. |
