1298964 2012-09-04 22:00:00 Ok, my mother is a pinterest addict; she uses it a lot on her tablet (original epad). She hasn't been able to pin webpages to her board though, and asked me for help. Never used pinterest, don't plan to. Had a look on google and didn't really find anything, so does anyone here know if it is possible to pin webpages from a android tablet?

Cheers

Don't! I looked at Pinterest to see what it was all about and signed on using an old Hotmail account. I forgot I used Hotmail as the facilitator for Outlook in my Windows phone. Pinterest then got my Outlook address details and emailed all my contacts with direct marketing crap purporting to come from me. Changed the password and I haven't had any recurrence since, but they still have the original addresses from Outlook, so who knows?

Tell mum to steer clear of this outfit.

You gave them your email account login details? Erm.

Erm, no. Microsoft said there was some sort of issue with Hotmail accounts and I was not the only victim.

Yes, she has that. She was quite pleased when it came out
What she wants to be able to do though, is pin webpages to her board, which it doesn't allow her do do. On a pc, a 'pin' button is added the the browser. Was wondering if that had been done with android as well.

The most likely way for it to be integrated will be via the 'share' intent (menu>>share or menu>>share page in the browser, unless you're using a strange one).
