| 1325469 | 2013-01-29 10:50:00 | I have 3 x SATA HDD and 1 x IDE HDD and 1 x IDE DVD drive installed. The IDE HDD is connected to the Primary IDE RAID (RED) connector It was working OK before untill this afternoon when I got a BSOD. A bad stick of RAM was found fautly and removed. Win XP Prof SP3 restarted sweet as. :) Somehow, I really don't know what have I done, I can't get Win XP to recognise the IDE HDD; and, if I swap the DVD and the IDE HDD, Windows couldn't recognise the DVD drive. In BIOS, it doesn't detect the IDE HDD but in the BIOS Boot Menu, the IDE HDD is shown. It must be the RAID array setting that's causing the problem, but I couldn't find any settings in BIOS to correct it. The machine was working OK with the above configuration. Any suggestions? |
