1299245	2012-09-06 04:56:00	I just got an email from discountdomains saying they will be taking provisional registrations for .kiwi.nz domain names from 10am Tuesday 11th. ---------------------------------------------------- Provisional Registration - The Terms Whilst the provisional registration phase is in place (opening month or until threshold reached) then your “.kiwi.nz” domain name extension can only be registered for a maximum of three months. Discount Domains will take orders for the usual annual fees (see below) and if the extension does not reach threshold then we will refund 9 months of the paid fee. If the “.kiwi.nz” domain name is a success and reaches threshold then Discount Domains will register the domain name for a further 9 months (plus the trial 3 months) and as such will not issue a refund against the annual fee paid. The domains registered under the provisional registration phase will be locked (no changes can be made to the registrant details) and the domain will not be delegated to the DNS. After the “.kiwi.nz” is declared live and threshold has been met then the new registrations will be delegated to the DNS and you can add a website/email account etc. to your new “.kiwi.nz” extension. ------------------------------------------------------ So just a heads up for anyone interested.
