1298974 2012-09-05 03:25:00 Uptake of 7 in enterprise has accelerated since they have seen the shambles that is 8?
If so I am not surprised either.
BTW
Is it true they are to stop supporting Vista at the same time they are XP?
If this is true then those of us who bought Vista in good faith have been shafted again!

There are people who bought Vista?

Haha yeap, i have plenty here that i used the downgrade to XP at the time as it was business edition, but now if i want to format these machines the XP code does not work any more.

EDIT: Kdave, if you brought Vista...then were shafted at the time, not now LOL

1298977 2012-09-05 03:53:00 "However, there's also good news for Apple in the August stats: the total Mac OS X user base now outstrips that of Windows Vista. Apple's combined share of the desktop market -- counting versions 10.4 and after of OS X -- Apple has a 7.11 percent share, while Windows Vista takes 6.1 percent."

I have to laugh at the way the guy says that its good news that Mac OS has finally overtaken Vista!
They would not have been hard.

(Was it good news for Apple, or good news for the people that ditched Vista!)

1298978 2012-09-05 04:26:00 Yes I was shafted by M$ when I bought Vista Ultimate.
I will not be as trusting as that again.
When support for Vista ends I will NOT be putting a M$ product on the thing.
It can have Linux and I'm sure it will be fine.
Still think M$ ripped us off though. :(
