| 108506 | 2002-12-23 08:17:00 | Theres a real good argument for medical pot... I watched a freind slowly die. Pot was the only effective anti nausiant, the hospital gave her pills that she (surprise) puked up. Smoking constantly till death of course necessitated home care, as this couldnt be tolerated in hospital, even though it was known to be the only way to give her final months any quality. It also worked to supress pain till the it got to the final month where she was kept on morphine (legaly), and of course then she saw many hallicinations at all times, like water dripping of the ceiling, and had no idea what was going on till the day she died. Without this illegal way of dealing with her cancerous last few months, i would have been witness to much more human suffering. .Clueless |
