| 108361 | 2002-12-22 23:12:00 | I was at a website which automatically streams audio using Windows media player - however when I logged off and went to play an mp3 file using Winamp as usual it doesn't work - ie the winamp window etc comes up but no sound (all connections are A OK btw) a WMA window first appears asking for bit rates etc...close that and even though it says "play in Winamp" on the right click no music comes out... the Winamp graphic is all jerky and the time is slipping... the only way I can make certain files play is start - search for "WMA" - and then right click on the resulting Winamp files and play- all goes perfectly then - yet only a very few of my mp3 files turn up in this results... nb. when I go right click on mp3 files and try "always open with" & choose Winamp (even though the icon is a winamp by the file) the screen freezes... need help:) TIA |
