| 108730 | 2002-12-24 10:25:00 | Specs 545mb harddrive 2 partitions 1 primary 1 extended dos The problem I cant delete the extended partition, every time i try it says Cannot delete extended partition while logical drives exist The problem there is that when I try and delete the logical partitions in the extended partition, I find there are no logical partitions defined, so I am stuck It appears i can't delete the partition because for some reason it sees logical drives in the extnd partition, but when I try to delete them they aren't there which is really odd. Any help would be greatly appreciated Nigel Thomson |

| 108732 | 2002-12-25 02:25:00 | Microsoft is not very helpful really in providing a tool to delete non-dos logical partitions. What will do the job is the text dos based version of Partition Magic, pqmagict.exe. It just so happens it can be downloaded from this educational establishment :) cis-download.njit.edu |
