| 108546 | 2002-12-23 19:31:00 | Hi Folks, I have a HP pavillion 510a, HD40gb, 256RAM, 1.2ghz CPU. I'm looking at installing either a 32x 0r 48x cd-rom, in the extra bay to supplement the writer already installed. I've never installed one before, and I'm wondering if I would see a drop off in overall performance in the computer? many thanks to all of you for your help through the year, and merry christmas. cheers, Bob |
