109267 2002-12-27 09:32:00 For those of you with nothing better to do!

Go to Google and type in your own name!
Try it with Surname only, with your initials&surname or with full
christian&surname!

Surprising what comes up?

I tried it using my "user"name, that I use where-ever I require one to log-in to various sites and was surprised with the trail one leaves while surfing the Internet!

Cheers,Kiwitas,;-)

109273 2002-12-28 09:37:00 Facinating, (as Mr Spock would say)
I wonder why it does that ?

109274 2002-12-28 15:25:00 It's no wonder that spamers find it so easy. I, and my e-mail address turned up 4 times in a Google search. Vince Vince (406)
109275 2002-12-28 17:39:00 OR: try out Googel
or Goolge.

Just how many typos for the name DO they have registered?

www.googel.com, up till earlier this year, was a promotion for a rival search-engine and a promise of a "geneological" (sic) site that never eventuated.
But Google have that one now.

Someone else apparently owns goggle.com But all the web home-page has is a disclaimer and pointer to Google.

Maybe they're hanging out for a better offer.
