| 109773 | 2002-12-29 10:02:00 | To cut the long saga short I need to transfer a pile of files off a NTFS partition (using Knoppix) to a Windows Network Drive, I have been told I need to use something like samba, however the cut-down version of knoppix I'm using dosen't have samba on it, Is there a way to browse network drives in knoppix?? Or maybe there is some sort for proggy that would allow me to send the files (like ICQ's file transfer which routs local files over the local network, only one that works with Linux and Windows)?? Thanks in advance foe your help. Liam |
