109998	2002-12-30 14:09:00	Hi, I've searched and read many messages re Win XP account types but haven't yet struck this particular problem, so apologies if it is a duplicate. I am running Win XP Pro with 4 user accounts set up, one of these being the guest account. This PC is set up as part of a home network with a second machine running Win ME. I need two of the accounts on this XP machine set up with admin privileges and the third with limited account type. The two admin accounts are fine, (apart from some internet connection issues for another day) but as often as I go to 'user accounts' in control panel and change the account type to 'limited' it stubbornly returns back to admin account type as soon as I exit control panel. After I make the change to 'limited' account type, if I click on the 'home' icon, the account appears as a limited account in the list of my 4 user accounts but if I close the user accounts window and reopen through control panel, it reverts to an admin account. I have looked for some 'save this change' type of option to make the account type change stick but can't find anything. Would appreciate any ideas. Regards, Brett	brett_np (2649)
109999	2002-12-30 18:50:00	You're not trying to change the a/c you are logged in as are you? You can only change an admin a/c, logged in as the other admin? Hope that made sense.	Stumped Badly (348)

I have tried to change the account to limited both when logged in to the account and when logged into another admin account. As far as when logged into another admin account goes, I have tried both while the account that I want to limit is running and when it is not.
