| 109815 | 2002-12-29 18:03:00 | My digital photos are stored automatically as "PHOTOnumber-so-and-so", e.g. PHOTO234. I would like to change the PHOTO part to a descriptive word that suits the photos themselves, such as "Auckland234" or "Xmas234". But instead of laboriously going through each one, pressing F2, etc., I would like to convert the entire batch. There must be some freeware that does this. Any ideas? BTW, I use Adobe PhotoShop for photo manipulation; there is a batch converter there but it appears only to be for non-file name purposes. I also have ULead PhotoImpact. Thanks. - Steve |

| 109818 | 2002-12-30 08:37:00 | Thanks Tommy and Dagon. I have downloaded InfranView - in fact, I was going to do this around 6 months ago and forgot. :D Also downloaded "The Rename" and "ReNameIt". Surely one of these 3 will do the job. :^o Reading the reviews on CNET made me go for 3 instead of one as the reviews were mixed. Hey - Happy New Year everyone!! We are off to Whitianga for 12 days....and my wife is bringing her brand new laptop B-) |
