| 110282 | 2003-01-01 06:06:00 | I am thinking of getting a DVD player (standalone) and would like any comments on getting a PS2 so we get a games console as well as a DVD player. Does a PS2 have svideo out? Is a PS2 multizone for DVDs? Or would I be better off getting a video card so I can use the DVD drive in my computer to watch DVDs on the TV? Thanks |

Re the DVD drive and a graphics card with TV out on the PC, I would recommend a stand-alone DVD player. $199 - $229 buys a good DVD player with multi-zone, Macrovision disable, CDR/CDRW/MP3 capabilities, multichannel sound ouputs etc. |
