110267 2003-01-01 04:16:00 I got an email from some one who has my email address on there address book. do you guys think its a virus or a fake trying to make me delete important windows files? its says this:

High everyone,

Not everyone received this warning so I'm sending it again to everyone so if you have already received it and checked that you don't have this virus please ignore this email.

It is a hoax that has been around awhile, not a virus - so don't delete the file.

110269 2003-01-01 04:38:00 Tim, if you receive such emails about viruses in the future, it always pays to confirm the validity of the warning by doing a search with google on that virus, or by checking it out on the Symantec website.

Jdbgmgr.exe file hoax (www.symantec.com)

You may wish to email the person who sent you this warning the above link as well.

110270 2003-01-01 04:43:00 TiM, you can go to Symantec and check out virus warnings for yourself to see if they are hoaxes or not. Go here: securityresponse.symantec.com type in the name of the virus in the search box, click Search then read the results. tommy (2826)
