| 110587 | 2003-01-02 21:00:00 | It is a mystery to me. Lots of stuff on the net but I can not find how to down load it and paste it to say an e-mail or word processor page. There is something about 'gif files' and such 'save as.... ' ? I cant get them to work. I have windows me. is there a simple, easy, piece of cake, way of doing it. Some instructions are very complicated (for me) I would just like to put a 'funny icon thingie' on the bottom of an e-mail or letter. word processor. Brandy |

Under save in: dialog box, click the down arrow and locate your My Pictures folder under found in My Documents and click save. When you want to insert your image into a document just go Insert > Picture > from file, and then browse to your My Pictures folder and select the image you want to insert. You can create a new folder for the clipart images instead of using My Pictures if you wish. To do this, go into My Documents and then click on File > New > Folder. You could then call this folder "My clipart" or whatever. Post back if you need more instructions Jen |

| 110589 | 2003-01-02 21:41:00 | Further information: Depending on your Word Program Version you can also download clip art from the Microsoft Design Gallery that will add the art to your clipart folder on your computer automatically . First connect to the internet and then open up Word, Insert > Picture > Clip Art . Click on the "Clips Online" button which will take you to Microsoft Design GalleryLive . Have a search for what clips you would like and select them (try not to do more than 10 at a time or the file will be too big) The following is instructions from the website: To download clips from the download page: Select the check box under each clip you want to download . 1 Click Download N Clips in the upper-left corner of the clips screen to open the download page . 2 Review the information and download time for the clips, and go to the Selection Basket if you want to make any changes . 3 Click Download Now! on the download page . If prompted, choose to open the file or run the program from its current location instead of saving it to disk . 4 Design Gallery Live downloads and installs the selected clips into the Clip Gallery or Clip Organizer program on your computer . The important step using this site is not to select the Save option this time . Jen |

| 110591 | 2003-01-05 07:07:00 | Another quick way to try, especially if you are not wanting to store the clipart, is to right click it, then select copy....now you have a copy on your clipboard...go to the document or email you want to add it to and "paste" | Gill (1530) | ||
