| 110485 | 2003-01-02 06:05:00 | hello folkz, jus wondering when installing a cd writer in a pc which already has a cd rom..does the wire thats connected to the cd writer connect to the cd rom thats already installed and then the "slave/master" switches have to be appropriately switched is that right..?.please a qwik answer would be much appresh! | Term_X (560) | ||

| 110487 | 2003-01-02 06:44:00 | Don't put your writer on the same channel as your hard drive!! If you need to, chain it to the cd-rom... make sure your cd-rom is set to slave, and writer is set to master. Windows will auto detect, and from there just make sure DMA is enabled and you'll be sweet! Lo. |
