| 110360 | 2003-01-01 13:07:00 | ok, so im using win98SE, and was just deleting a few entries off of the right click menu for htm files from the registry, and deleted a wrong one, so now it opens with another program by default (double click) instead of just opening in IE. can i grab a dump of this key from someone, i guess, using the same OS as me, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\htmlfile\shell grtz sal. tga |

| 110361 | 2003-01-01 20:49:00 | Why not just restore an earlier registry? Provided you are set up to create a registry back up every time you start your computer you will have five sequential backups saved. I don't know if this topic is covered in the FAQ's, but if not, try searching the Press F1 archives. I wrote a detailed decription of how to do this from the DOS command line some time during the last 12 months I think. If it is not an FAQ I might dig it out and post it later but haven't time right now. Cheers Billy [8-{) :D |
