I had one of those too - remember it vividly!

Speaking of cheap things, saw copies of Robo's book being sold off for ½ price today. I was originally considering buying one when it came out, as I thought it would be a collectors item, now....not so sure....

110654 2003-01-03 11:39:00 Hay Robo,

I just might have some of those sitting in my bag of goodies . From memory I have about twenty . Shall I send you my bank A/c details?

I also have a Apple II G which I upgraded to 640k of memory . I think it cost about $1 per k back then!

I am not worried about the price drop, although I was when I first saw them do it. I was really wetting myself, then I found out that they do it regularly regardless of how a book is selling. They sold a thousand copies in a week at the end of November at $9.95, and were apparently very happy. The more they sell, the more chance I have of doing another one.
I would add that there are no signed ones out there, and I think signing books is stupid.
