| 110685 | 2003-01-03 05:11:00 | Suddenly, out of the blue, 'Freecell' doesn't load up completely - the green screen loads, the left-hand boxes and two cards, max. What can be happening? I had downloaded and then removed an accounting programm from an Australian site, but don't see how that could affect this one. Any ideas? Someone, please help. I need to phone Telecom in the next few days and I need Freecell to fill in the hours of waiting. Regards Jay |

| 110686 | 2003-01-03 06:38:00 | There was a thread on the same topic a few days ago, they reported a card.dll error. Have a look at the thread (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) and see if any of that information is of help. Jen |

| 110688 | 2003-01-03 09:16:00 | Flag the MS version, the free one (123 Solitaire) available here (www.123freesolitaire.com) is much better. Its ad supported, but very well behaved. It will never update the small ad without asking you first, and telling you its done. Its much better and has many games included, freecell being one of them Just make sure you download the free 123 program, not the trial of the full suite. |

Go to the FAQ section (link top right of this page) and find the Registry FAQ for instructions. Make sure that the backup copy of your registry is one prior to uninstalling the accounting program. Alternatively you might try running system file checker -- it wouldn't hurt to do this before trying the registry restore. |
