In plain language for relative newbies what effect do these have on your internet functioning if they are checked? l1. Java Consiole enabled 2 Java logging enabled Mine are not checked. If I check them will all hell break loose or is there some advantage in enabling these two options? I often experiment and get into trouble . Perhaps I should leave well alone as at the moment my PC is behaving itself while on the net. |

| 110678 | 2003-01-03 04:24:00 | Willbry - like you said at the start: "Internet Options Advanced". They're advanced options, so needn't be touched for full browsing use. I believe they're for java programmers etc. for making web applets work properly - if you're not doing any java building then you don't need to touch it. Mike. |

| 110679 | 2003-01-03 04:25:00 | I should add - it's not going to mess things up if you do enable the two options - you probably won't even notice anything different, unless you browse a lot of java-enabled sites, then you might see a little bit of action from them. Mike. |
