| 111081 | 2003-01-05 00:34:00 | I do it every 2 days....i know sometimes theres no new definations then..but..i do it 2 be on the safe side.. sometimes no new ones come for a week...sometimes...2 dayts in a row theres new ones... i'd recommend every 2-3 days... i suppose someone else mite recommend a week or something hehe |

| 111084 | 2003-01-05 08:21:00 | Hi utopia, Symantec usually has new virus defs available every day,but these are not usually fully tested untiI they are in their "Live Update"bin which is ready for downloading once a week unless there is a new virus around! There are a couple of new stains of "YAHA-" about right now and Symantec has had a Live-update twice already this week! AVG sometimes updates early,but generally they leave it till their weekly auto update! Avast32 on the other hand,up-date every other day,but this can only be downloaded manually! Cheers,Kiwitas,;-) |
