(probably not, else you wouldn't have this problem LOL) If you're Registry savvy you could search through the registry for reference to the game, and point it to the CD Drive rather than the burner (just change the drive letter in the Registry keys for that game... however make sure it is only for that game as you don't want to mess up other registry settings). | 111682 | 2003-01-08 22:50:00 | I've been through the registry a couple of times and there is nothing obvious relating to the game. Also looked around for .ini files or something similar, but with no luck. What about if I unplug the burner and run the game, so that it has no choice but to look in the CD drive. It seems likely that it might permanently change the search path - doesn't it? Then I could plug the burner back in and all would be fine. Think I'll give it a go anyway. Cheers Miami |
