111687 2003-01-07 06:35:00 ... What really is so great about the taste of mussels?

[before ya flame me - I just wanted an opinion from a broader section of society, and I thought the geeks from F1 might be a good place to start]

111688 2003-01-07 06:39:00 There is a company down the road that make the most delicious BBQ flavoured mussels and sell them by the kilo for $10 a bag.

Yum!

111691 2003-01-07 08:44:00 Funnily enough, I cooked up a batch tonight...

1 X roughly chopped onion
1 X can of coconut cream
Half a cup of chardonnay
1 tablespoon of lemongrass paste
1 teaspoon crushed garlic

Awesome... simply awesome.

Lo.

111693 2003-01-07 08:50:00 I'll eat them when they're there. I won't request them though. The main reason for eating them is just to annoy the people that really do like them :D

Give me a paua any day.

111696 2003-01-07 09:01:00 I'll bet you lot don't like:
- avocados,
- mushrooms or
- caviar
either!

(But I've never seen the point in oysters)
