| 1325808 | 2013-01-31 09:24:00 | We've had this PVR for about 5 years, with no trouble until recently. Now it has stopped recording to the HDD via the USB, and also ceased allowing time shifting -- error is "Invalid Enter". I bought a new HDD, formatted it to 4 x 120 GB FAT32, to no avail. I have (I think) updated the firmware too; no avail. I tried using the PVR to reformat the diska, made no difference (and was suspiciously quick!) Has anyone out there got any ideas? Or is it bin-it time? Thanks -- michael |

System information reports: CPU SUNPLUS1002 SW V1.0.1 HW BMUS103M2 Loader v 1.0.5 I don't think I have managed to update the firmware. I found an update .bin file on the web, and followed the instructions (put on usb, turn off, insert USB, turn on: it read the usb, but nothiong else happened). I then tried the update function within the USB system area: It found the .bin file, but didn't like it (checksum error). That's when I called for help. |

You may have to unzip (if its zipped) copy it to a USB flash drive (it may have to be formatted in FAT32 / not NTFS). Then point it to the bin file, for it to update I would check with that aussie site first, and see if their product. Then we'll go from there |
