| 1325794 | 2013-01-31 01:42:00 | For a number of years(8 or so) I have used Quicken and updated a few versions and the last one appox 1/2 year ago. Just had to call for support for a program fault and they were kind and not very stressed at approx. $4.-/min.. As I had not updated to 2013 from 2012 the nice lady said, after a few minutes of me waiting, that she could not help me. She also mentioned this fault would not exist in the 2013 version. A nice way to make sure people would not come back again to purchase any upgrades and instead go somewhere else!:horrified Thanks |

Years ago I bought Quick Books and had great trouble registering it so rang them for support and got the same as you, so told them to get stuffed and ended up using GNUCash and would never go back. I think they are trying to be another MS. As for the fault not existing in the latest version I wouldn't believe them. I reported a bug in the Wordperfect spreadsheet program and they weren't interested as it wasn't the latest version I was using even though it would have been very easy to test as to whether it still existed in the latest. I really went off commercial software after that. If I remember correctly GNUCash will import QuickBooks files and is free. Like any program of that sort it does take a little while to adjust to it though. |

| 1325799 | 2013-01-31 08:20:00 | I remember logging a job with them to try and fix a 'print to pdf' issue on a Citrix 2008 R2 server about a year ago. The software kept coming up with some generic error. Anyway, the job got logged (under a support agreement) and the 1st level support tech had no idea how to fix it so it got escalated. The 2nd level team never called back, so I rang them about 4 or 5 times over a 2 week period but could never get a hold of the tech assigned to the job or his manager. Not sure how we fixed the issue in the end but it was no thanks to them. Useless! |

| 1325800 | 2013-02-02 02:49:00 | The quickbooks PDF printer is useless - on the rare occasion that one of my customers wants to use the quickbooks email function, it never works because the print to PDF step always fails & Quickbooks support are never helpful. My work still uses quickbooks because it is too much work to migrate to a new platform. |
