1300997 2012-09-14 07:17:00 A trivial matter, but do you when listening to music etc, use headphones or the L/T speakers? Cicero (40)
1300998 2012-09-14 07:45:00 Headphones - laptop speakers are awful. Nick G (16709)
1300999 2012-09-14 07:46:00 Normally headphones will deliver a superior sound to lappy speakers, but of course it depends on the quality of the 'phones really.

1301001 2012-09-14 08:28:00 Definitly headphones when wanting sound quality, but for less important stuff the laptop's speakers are fine Greg (193)
1301002 2012-09-14 09:16:00 Headphones, always for music!

1301003 2012-09-14 10:13:00 Digressing for a minute, anybody tried one of these gadgets that are supposed to improve amplification from L/T?

I saw one where you connected to laptop and put item in a bowl, or something.

1301004 2012-09-14 22:20:00 I connect my Logitech LS 21 ($30) to my laptop. About 4x better than laptop speakers. sahilcc7 (15483)
1301005 2012-09-14 22:37:00 Usually the laptop is fine for me, if I am listening to a podcast in the living room I may use my Nokia headphones.

If I wanted better sounds, I use my PC which is connected to the stereo via Audio out.

Are you talking about this product, Cic? www.showmeshop.co.nz

I bought one at the Food Show (!) recently - the sound (volume/quality) is amazing when connected to a cellphone and the induction speaker on the Boombox is sitting on say, an empty cardboard box!!
