1300728	2012-09-13 05:53:00	So the new "iPhone 5" has been announced. Impressive camera, taller, 16x9 screen, LTE etc. I think I'll be waiting in line on release day :D I never bothered with apple in the past, because everyone around me was biest toward them, taking preference for Windows, Android etc. Now that I have an iPhone 4 and a "new iPad", I now prefer them over any other mobile device. I'm so tired of hearing people trash-talk apple when they have never even tried their products!	jareemon (5207)
1300729	2012-09-13 05:58:00	Ho hum. Impressive camera - can shoot video and take photos, is 8mp. There is such a thing as a HTC One X. Taller - One X, Galaxy S3, LG Optimus 4x, etc. LTE - I won't even list half the androids that have that. Basically the iPhone 5 finally has some of the features that androids have had for a while now. I'm still saving for a good android, not a iPhone. And I have an iPod touch 4th gen, so I have tried a product.	Nick G (16709)

It was my *job* for a while to review a series of tablets to make purchasing advice for my old work. Same for phones, having owned a large number of them, I can honestly say there's bugger all that the new iPhone5 will do that the Galaxy Nexus didn't already do 12 months ago. (Warning, intense sarcasm / cynicism to follow) Nothing exciting, nothing "new"... Maps changes are old, flyover isn't that great, and we've had turn by turn navigation for ages... Panoramic photos came two android releases ago... oh yeah here it is: www.android.com :: www.youtube.com New CPU isn't special, its a dual core when the likes of some phones have a quad core (That was their main sell point for the new iPad: MOAR CORES!) A longer (but not wider) 16:9 screen, welcome to 2008 guys. Its great for movies, but your bad and highly sheltered developers won't know how the hell to program for more than one screen resolution. Its fragmentation, its bad, and its gonna end the platform (Just as Apple predicted it would with Android) ... :D Siri now tells you sports scores? So does GoogleNow, yippy... same for making reservations, that's super guys... never seen that before (haha yeah right) Facebook integration so we can share pix to Facebook!?! OMG that's never been done before, who would have thought of such a cool idea!?! What about G+, Tumblr, Pinterest, WordPress, Min.us, Imgur... Video calling over Cellular! Wow never done that with Gtalk.... or maybe I have... lots... www.youtube.com Best part is their marketing speak ( www.apple.com ) saying "Its been completely redesigned". Umm no guys it hasn't. Its the same, just longer and a little thinner. Inside might be different, but that happens with every cellphone. n00bs! Impressed? I'll give them a 2/10 for making it thinner and lighter, and maybe half a point for having the charger cable reversible, kudos there. Glad I wasn't holding out for one :p That said, it's going to be an improvement over the iPhone4, so good for you ;) If you think of it more as the "4SS" then it doesn't seem so disappointing :D	Chilling_Silence (9)

And the Galaxy S3? And the One X? I've tried 2 of those 3, and have tried both the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, New iPad, and I'd hands down take the S3 or One X camera any day.	Chilling_Silence (9)

I will have a look at the iPhone 5 but probably won't buy one, not yet anyway, but I also won't be getting an android phone as I've played with pretty much all of them and don't like them. I know other people who have android phones and they don't like them either. I do want a Nexus 7 though :D I'll openly admit I can't stand the stock version of Android that HTC ship on the One X. However, I've got AOSP Jellybean and it's *fantastic*. Stock, standard, the way Google made it. The Nexus 7 is definitely a favorite of mine. Before that I would have opted for one of the Transformer series over anything else. Liked them a bit more than the iPads / Xoom / Galaxy Tabs / Lenovo Thinkpad / Acer Iconias ... and the rest I've had :D Gotta admit, it was nice taking them all home for a week to play with, back in the day! I lo find it funny that fandroids like big screens in their phones but small screens in their tablets. Oh, even with the so called butter, it still lags compared to the iPad.	plod (107)
