I stopped watching at that point.

If you'd watched a bit further you would have heard the point he was trying to make: that Apple use statistics in their keynotes which make them look good. Once those stats change (over time) they don't refer to them any more.

It's a bit disingenuous though to accuse Apple of this behaviour - everyone does it (Lies, Damn Lies and Statistics)

Yeah they *used* to say that about the iPhone and then they changed to "iOS devices" (iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch) as Android market share *flew* past, he's pretty much on the money with respect to most things :p

Tillmorn says:

Quite frankly, the best part of the iPhone 5, which has already been stated, is the A6 chip. I’m interested to see how it stacks up to the competition. Unfortunately, most of if not everything else has not only been done before, but first started appearing well over a year ago. Bigger screen, LTE, smaller connector, etc. And don’t even get me started on iOS 6. Apple slammed Samsung with it’s way too broad patents, claiming that this “win” would force more unique and innovative ideas on the market from other companies…then they go and rip off Android/Windows and 3rd party apps for most of their key “new features” in 6. My only thought: “Pot, meet Kettle.”

And please, I would like for you all to understand something. I don’t hate Apple. I’m just saddened by the fact that true innovation seems to have been put on the back burner with them (and other companies). I never wanted an iPhone. My entire reasoning has to do with not liking Apple’s ecosystem. Well, that and the relatively annoying voice of a sorority girl back my sophomore year saying, “O-M-G. Is that an IPHONE!?!?” Yeah…that kind of killed my desire right there, but I’ve never been fond of blonde, ditzy types. Anyway, in general, I’ve respected Apple’s success and products. Now? I’m kind of bored with it all. At the same time however, I must admit to being rather amused. During the trial, the comment section was flooded with people saying that Samsung needs to learn to innovate, to stop copying, to pay up, etc. Calling them Samesung…which I’m sure took a LOT of brain power to come up with. Yet in the end, the product known as the iPhone 5, released by the company that so many claim to be God-like around here, lacks innovation and is mantled in its own layer of copying. Again, “Pot, meet Kettle.”
Let the flaming begin.
