| 1300769 | 2012-09-13 21:20:00 | Was talking to a korean friend of mine, no one uses the iPhone (much) in korea because it doesn't support LTE. That and the Galaxy is only about $100 there (along with many other phones being much cheaper) In china people are not convinced about android because of its google ties. When google was blocked in CN so where a lot of features such as the play store. People use iPhones because they don't want to end up with a useless device that wont connect to services. WP is catching on though, seen many lumias. iOS and Android looks pretty ugly with the chinese writing. I mean it looks REALLY ugly. WP makes it look half decent, their typography is stunning. It's the first time I have seen a CN language look good onscreen. For that reason I see WP taking off a bit in asia. Also those bright colours look great. Chinese love having crazy colours. |
