1300912 2012-09-15 01:35:00 Does anyone trust Sony still.
Depends what for. Their e-reader department is pretty good, and has a track record of both producing excellent products and listening to their customers.

Having tried to help a friend years ago with his DRM riddled MP3 player, their root kit caper and having their network compromised they will never get my trust again.

I still buy there gear if the price is right, But I wouldn't trust any of their media or devices that can retain and transmit personal data. Metla (12)
1300915 2012-09-15 02:58:00 Sony, like Apple will wait 'til hell freezes over before they get a red cent from me.
(not that any other global corporate is any better really)

So how did you get the transaction started?

This, from Google Play:

"Sorry! Devices on Google Play is not available in your country yet.
We're working to bring devices to more countries as quickly as possible.
Please check back again soon."

1300920 2012-09-17 05:28:00 The Nexus7 I got from Google Play is great. I've got a ton of apps on it and it keeps on trucking!

Battery life is humongous and on WIFI I can transfer data and files and MP3s back and forth to my PCs and my Eee-PC too.

With Bluetooth and NFC I can do a lot more than I thought it could. I like the cloud and of course, the books available are fantastic. I'm also working on sending printer commands to my printer now, and I think I've found the app for it.

Impressive to say the least. Even if it has Linux running inside it (does it?) I seem to get along with it very nicely.

Now if only I can get my VCR from blinking 12:00 all the time.

A VCR? Wouldn't that be flashing XII:00 all the time? ;)
