After the USB legacy support in BIOS was disabled, all my USB ports are working fine since. The only problem I have now is the Logitech's setpoint software for my mouse which occasionally stops me from shutting down the PC. I just uninstalled the setpoint software 2 days ago and it doesn't seem to cause any issues with my mouse, so I will just go without the setpoint software. I don't really see any point in 'upgrading' to Win8 if you already have Win7 installed. |

| 1326343 | 2013-02-04 18:28:00 | at this rate I might have to follow your footsteps Speedy...I had windows 8 preview, it was pretty good...then I went back to windows 7, which is more stable than windows 8, but not as fast on boot up....I thought the under 10 second boot up time was fast under win7...but under win8 it does it in under 6 seconds (when it works properly that is....) |
