| 112505 | 2003-01-09 20:47:00 | I recently installed the Service Pack for IE6 (I am running Win 98 Second Edition with IE6). Since then, none of my www pages load correctly - ie, the text loads but many images are missing (although this can be corrected by right-click H). Is this a known problem ? Help About shows that SP1 has been installed. |

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs Click Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 SP1 and Internet Tools Click Add/Remove Click Repair Internet Explorer Click Ok and follow the instructions Otherwise, do you have a Firewall or Internet Popup Blocked or something as these have been known (from personal experience) to interefere with images on some pages. | 112507 | 2003-01-10 00:13:00 | many thanks - seems to work now. But why do Microsoft 'hide' things - why not have the fix accessible from the IE6 toolbar ? (rhetorical question) I would have eventually resolved to delete IE6 & reinstal it & thereby found the fix, but only as a last resort. Stupid place to put it. Anyway, brill & thanks again |
