Cancelling his son's music lessons, sorting out his power bill and emails.

(Did I actually mention that I work for him in a computer related field?)

112534 2003-01-09 23:57:00 Heather, not related to the txt message, why not get Mailwasher installed to screen the emails, there is devided thought about bouncing them or not but at least you can blacklist the senders and most cases the domains and delete from the mail server. Saves having to download all the crap. duckyduck (197)

I have as follows:

.... Any WHAT today? (or did you hurt your knee today?)

Shall no doubt get a response late tonight when he's awake.

As for bouncing/deleting messages - I tend to use message rules to delete stuff off the server. Used with care it means some still gets through but I've managed to dump most porn, gambling and various other ones from my own email. If you have say "gambl" in your email address I'll never see it.

With someone else's email you can't do it this way. Too risky not knowing the patterns.

Mailwasher will be recommended though.

112540 2003-01-10 03:19:00 This "text messaging" is meant to be a wonderfully efficient communication method?

It doesn't appear to work all the time. ;-).

Actually it's quite good. Like when my daughter takes one look at caller id and decides to ignore me I can still lecture from afar.

The boss took his cellphone and compaq with the intention of using email. Last heard of it didn't work where ever it is he's ended up (although the spam would have cost him a fortune if it did work).

Text messaging is g8. Except when he (or I for that matter) decide to annoy each other by causing confusion. And no, he's not paying for my time to delve deeply into the meaning of his messages. I'm on holiday till next week.
