| 112447 | 2003-01-09 11:00:00 | Found this little bit of info earlier that might be handy to know? The Yaha.K Worm virus is causing havoc amongst computers world-wide and is very difficult to remove because of its nature to not allow any system programs to run. Read more for removal instructions of this worm which IS NOT detected by Hotmail. The Yaha.K Worm virus is not able to be removed by conventional virus scanners because system programs are not allowed to run. This is shown by the quick closing of Task Manager when pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL after being infected. It's an email worm, sending itself through various messages which ask you to see a screen saver of love. As well, this virus IS NOT DETECTED by the Hotmail scanner. McAfee has posted a program to easily remove it. Cheers,Kiwitas,;-) |
