112383 2003-01-09 06:17:00 You need to know what motherboard you have. That is the main factor.
Also you need to know if you have any spare slots for RAM on the motherboard.

What is the exact description of your PC?

112385 2003-01-09 08:50:00 What kind of computer is it? Baldy (26)
112386 2003-01-09 20:51:00 it,s called a e-machine and i got it from jdi in auckland holden (2488)
112387 2003-01-09 21:21:00 Unfortunately that doesn't help.
Did the documentation not state what components were used (what the name and type of motherboard it has?).

Why don't you contact JDI and ask them what RAM it will accept?

By the way, the "apostrophe" key ' is the one next to the "Enter" key, not the "comma" key you are using.
