112839 2003-01-11 04:24:00 My B.I.L asked me to look for his replacement PC, he has modest request, XP, 17" mon, Webcam, ADSL card? and a few other items, but no bundled hardware as they already exist at his home.

Is there a NZ site where I can go to Select from Tick boxes to makeup his PC. There was a site a few years back where you could do this, Ive looked at a few Online stores but nothing like this seems to exist.

Thanks.....John.

112840 2003-01-11 04:30:00 Computer Future here (www.computerfuture.co.nz). Click the "info" box on any system to get tick options. (These guys seem good to deal with)

Dell, here (www.dell.com)

And I am sure most hardware suppliers have a similar page - somewhere

112841 2003-01-11 04:56:00 Ascent (http://www.ascent.co.nz) have a "PC Builder" which is quite good. Can take a wee while to load it all on dial-up though. Click on the tab at the top of their homepage to get to it.

They are a very good company to deal with although they aren't the cheapest. I have heard that they can be negotiable if you ask.
