| 113941 | 2003-01-15 01:55:00 | Hi, im thinking about starting a LAN network between two computers. What hardware will i need to accomplish this? Can you network win 95 to win 98? Do i need any software? Any help and advice would be appreciated Thanx. |

| 113942 | 2003-01-15 02:05:00 | You'll need 2 Network Cards and a Crossover cable. If you plan on expanding, then perhaps a Switch or Hub and a few patch cables (Non-Crossover) You can network 98 and 95 fine. I would setup 98 as the "gateway" or "main" PC, because if it is 98SE then you can share the internet connection across the whole network :-) Not software needed apart from the Operating System.
