114606 2003-01-18 01:49:00 20mb/hour is an awful lot of bandwidth considering thats about the same as you will get on a dial-up connection.

You might want to check there aren't any other programmes running on the HP system that are also generating traffic.

114607 2003-01-18 07:28:00 Oakey Doakey,
Now about this keyboard thing, I have a HP keyboard for the 6700 model computer.
Now I have no idea if its doing any strange things, so by changing to another keyboard (non HP) is that all that would be required to sort this problem out. (If it exsists on ones computer)

Or does one have to delete the old HP keyboard drivers. (Help)
Never did use the buttons at the top of the keyboard anyway.

Was given a "Accodata" keyboard about 18 months ago (funny shape) but it seems to be working ok, did'nt have to install nothing to get it to work, only the backspace key is missing.

Your thoughts please.

cheers merlin-nz ;-)

You should be able to download the appropriate patch off the HP Website - from the Link given above - and that should sort you out.

Also, have you looked through Add/Remove Programs? - in there should be software version for your keyboard drivers and the Netropa "phone home software" - if you wish to change keyboards then you can remove this programs
