A FULL update of windows will update your version of OE as well. Just because you cant open OE doesnt mean that your message store or address book are corrupted. Hopefully once you have done such an update, you will be able to open OE, the latest version, and you will then be able to get to your message store and addresses. If not you have serious problems, and it might be time to copy your message store etc onto CD, or differant partition/HDD as it could be time for some radical surgery. Is there anything else that has stopped working? Does your HDD have bad sectors? This might explain why critical bits of programmes disapear (run scandisk to find out) Let us know who you go. .Clueless |
