| 114742 | 2003-01-17 21:34:00 | Hi all, was wondering if anybody has had any probs with Yahoo messenger interfering with the set up of normal windows messenger using xp pro? I haven't used Yahoo messenger, but have been trying to help somebody with a problem - so i wanted them to set up windows messenger, unfortunately he seems to be having problems setting it up, I do remember him saying he had yahoo chat (which i presume is yahoo messenger?) - not likely that it should interfer is it, as i can run icq and win messenger without any probs. The only thing i thought of was the default settings "set program access and defaults" instant message setting, but that hasn't affected my icq and win mess use. But anyway has anybody had a conflict with these programs before, remembering it sounds like he set up yahoo chat first and has never had windows messenger set up. Thanks :-) |
