| 114799 | 2003-01-18 22:22:00 | .pps files are a new type of M$ Powerpoint file and can be opened by more recent versions of Powerpoint (my version 4 can't do it). I believe the Microsoft website has a free viewer available (I don't know what its name is) which will open the files if you do not have Powerpoint. In this case it might be worth setting up a file association in Windows for opening .pps files. If you do not know how to do this check out the FAQs on this site or post back. HTH. I think you will find this more useful than comments about Linux. |
